Almost 3 decades ago, CMSP established its first Community Childcare Center in an urban poor community in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. In 1993, CMSP was able to purchase a parcel of land at Esguerra St. Bgy. Pinagbuhatan, with funds from CMD Germany and constructed a single-storey building for 50 Daycare children. In 1999, a bigger two-storey building was constructed with funds provided again by CMD Germany and the Mission Church in Kunzelsau through former CMD Vice President Rev. Heinz Steinhauser. The building was later named CMSP Kunzelsau Hall as a fitting tribute to the enduring partnership between CMSP and CMD. The Center’s second floor serves as an area for worship and spiritual events for the children, youth groups and teachers; while the 2 classrooms for Day care sessions are on the ground floor, other facilities are kitchen, staff quarters, office, playground, and parent’s waiting area.

Currently, the Daycare Center has the capacity to accommodate about 80 to 100 young children who are 3 to 4 years of age in four (4) separate sessions daily under the tutelage of Ms. Gina Alforque, as Center Supervisor/Head Teacher and Ms. May Ann Ancajas, a former CMSP sponsored child, now acts as Daycare Teacher, with the assistance of community volunteers and active members of Agape Youth Ministry.
