22 Years of Friendship, Hope, and Love with  +one (プラスワン)

September 10, 2025

The second week of August witnessed the joyful celebration of the 22nd Anniversary of Plus One filled with love, hope, and unforgettable moments. Started with a fun shopping activity at SM Trece in Cavite, followed by a warm welcome ceremony for the 37 Plus One members. The evening’s highlight was the children’s musical play, “Melodies of Hope,” where the children shared their talents and dreams through inspiring songs and performances.  The following day focused on fellowship activities, started with a spirit-filled worship service led by Pastor Jeff Ramos, where Hiroyuki Seino, President of Plus One, delivered a heartfelt message of encouragement and assurance that Plus One will continue supporting CMSP. The afternoon comprised of a touching handprint activity to express their dreams for the future followed by an enjoyable Water Festival, the day concluded with a special presentation from Plus One themselves. Adding to the joy of the visit, Kenji and Shiho Naito generously donated school bags for the children as an expression of their love and support.   Thank you, Plus One family, for 22 years of love, friendship, and unwavering support. Your love continues to inspire our children to dream bigger and reach higher. Looking forward to more years of journeying with you in bringing hope, transforming lives, and building brighter future together.

25 Years of CMSP and Para Sa Iyo’s Partnership: A Lifetime of Impact

25 Years of CMSP and Para Sa Iyo’s Partnership: A Lifetime of Impact

September 10, 2025

From a small beginning in 2000, the partnership of Para Sa Iyo and CMSP has grown into 25 years of transforming lives. This year, we marked this milestone with 106 PARASAIYO(パラサイヨ:フィリピンの子どもたちの未来を支える団体)members, including five of the original pioneers and 11 past leaders who have faithfully carried the vision through the years. The celebration was filled with unforgettable moments that spoke of God’s faithfulness. The welcome ceremony became especially nostalgic as Harvest joined the current CMSP beneficiaries in singing “Welcome to the Family,” rekindling memories of earlier years of fellowship and love. Followed by the Paramon and Handprinting activity as a symbol of unity, and the long-awaited opening of the Time Capsule—first sealed in 2010 but postponed due to the pandemic. Inside were the dreams of children and staff from years past, opened by Yu Nakanishi and ED Emeritus Dinah Macaranas. New dreams were then sealed once more by CMSP Executive Director Rose Salvani, Para Sa Iyo President Seina Yoshiike and CMSP Harvest President Elaidia Briones, carrying forward the hope of the present generation. Another highlight of the celebration, the children’s presentation, where the new generation of Para Sa Iyo and Harvest members also took part in the heartwarming musical play. Stories of graduates and fulfilled dreams brought inspiration, while Para Sa Iyo members themselves offered songs and dances as a gift of joy and thanksgiving. The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Harvest, lighting up the night sky with gratitude and hope, and love. The celebration also included a worship service led by Pastor Danzhiel Macalindol— CMSP beneficiary and now a pastor, delivering a powerful message on how the partnership has grown stronger over the past 25 years.  And to honor their legacy, original members and past leaders were gifted with special artworks made by the children, each one carrying a message of love and gratitude from children and staff. This celebration will forever remain in the hearts of CMSP children and staff, Harvest, and the Para Sa Iyo family—a milestone with a lasting impact that will continue to inspire generations to come. For 25 years, Para Sa Iyo has walked hand-in-hand with CMSP—helping children finish their studies, reach their dreams, and discover God’s plan for their lives. Here’s to the next chapters of this beautiful journey of hope and transformation.  TO GOD BE THE HIGHEST GLORY!

“CMSP’s Cherished Twins and Triplets

“CMSP’s Cherished Twins and Triplets"

July 7, 2025

For 36 years, CMSP has been a steadfast partner in supporting children and families in need across the Philippines. Through the unwavering commitment of its sponsors, CMSP has positively impacted the lives of more than 7,000 children and families—and its mission continues to grow. Among those currently receiving care are two sets of siblings whose stories remind us why CMSP exists: a pair of twins and a set of triplets, both facing extraordinary circumstances. Jennifer and Jon Jon, twins currently residing at the Naic Children’s Village, were admitted last year due to their family’s extreme poverty. Last School Year, a concerned local pastor brought them to CMSP after witnessing their dire situation. Their father had already passed away, and their mother had taken work as a housemaid—unable to care for the twins while employed. The children were left in the care of their older sister, who had her own young family and was struggling to meet basic needs. When the twins arrived at CMSP, they were severely malnourished, unable to walk properly, and visibly affected by prolonged hunger and neglect. Meanwhile, in CMSP Calaca, triplets Carl, Cedrick, and Clark have become new symbols of hope. They are three of four siblings in a family residing in the coastal village of Camastilisan, Calaca, Batangas. Their father, a construction worker with no stable income, struggled to provide for the children’s education and basic needs. The family sought help from CMSP, where the triplets are now receiving support and care. Raising one child in difficult economic conditions is already a challenge—how much more when that number suddenly doubles or triples? For families like them, CMSP offers more than assistance—it provides a lifeline, a future, and a chance to dream again. This May, with the support of CMSP, JonJon and Jennifer graduated from Kindergarten. A spark of hope is already evident in their bright smiles and shining faces. They are currently Grade 1 students, while Carl, Cedrick, and Clark are now in Grade 2. There’s still a long road ahead for the twins and triplets to reach their full potential. But with your continued help, we can walk that journey together. Let us extend our support and compassion to the children of CMSP—because every child deserves a chance at a better life.
