Gulay na Masustansya

Isang tula para sa gulay na masusutansya
Mahilig nang iwasan ng mga bata
Minsan nang tinakbuhan, madalas siyang iniiyakan


Isa, dalawa, tatlo, sabi ng nanay ko, tatangkad na ako
Lenguwahe na hanggang ngayon, minion parin sa kanto


Isa, isang beses na akong umasa na mayroong sustansya ang tsokolate na paborito nila
Ako’y nabigo na ang tsokolate pala ay parang pag-ibig na sa una masaya,
Matamis tapos sa dulo magkakasakit ka rin pala, masasakatan ka


Hanggang sa dalawa, mas masarap pa pala ang ampalaya mapait sa una pero matututo ka
May sustansya kang makukuha madadala mo hanggang sa pagtanda


Dito tayo sa tatlo, susutansya na hanap mo, sa gulay meron nito
Mahina at mahiwagang buto, gulay ang kailangan mo


Pangpa-kinis, malinis na kamatis
Pangpa-linaw ng mata, kalabasa kung tawagin nila
Itlog na paborito ni kuya, pangpa-tangkad sa bata, sakit maiiwasan na
Pagmamahal sa gulay palalakasin ka.
