CMSP at 36: “Growing Together in Service and Faith”
July 7, 2025
The 36th Anniversary of CMSP was celebrated with great enthusiasm and purpose on March 8 and 9, offering a variety of events that fostered joy and unity among its members and supporters. The celebration kicked off with sports activities for children at the Children’s Village, featuring ball games, cheerleading, and traditional Filipino games. Younger participants enjoyed fishing for tilapia in the village’s fishpond. This was followed by a boodle lunch, where everyone shared freshly caught fish and vegetables harvested directly from the village.
In the afternoon, a General Membership Meeting was held, both in-person and online, where in this session, Rosario Salvani, affectionately known as “Ate Rose,” was officially confirmed as the new Executive Director of CMSP, and the current Board of Trustees, led by Chairman Dinbo Macaranas, was re-elected. The day concluded with a remarkable Children’s Presentation, where the young talents of the children and German volunteers were on full display, featuring singing, dancing, and acting.
The second day was celebrated through a Thanksgiving Service, participated by CMSP centers, former staff, and the Harvest. Pastor Jeff Ramos delivered an inspiring sermon centered on the theme “Growing Stronger in Service and Faith.” This was followed by a Luncheon Fellowship, deepening the sense of community within the CMSP family.
A notable activity of the day was the Dwarf Coconut Tree Planting activity, sponsored by The Harvest. Various CMSP centers—including Sipocot, Calaca, Pinagbuhatan, the Tutorial Center, Harvest, German volunteers, and Children’s Village Homes—set up fellowship booths offering simple food, fostering camaraderie and connection among CMSP family. These events not only celebrated CMSP’s milestone but also underscored the organization’s ongoing commitment to its mission of growth in faith and service.
CMSP is truly grateful for the unwavering support from sponsors -CMD, Para Sa Iyo, Plus One, APCF, and other local individuals and groups who remain committed to advancing CMSP’s mission.
TO GOD BE THE HIGHEST GLORY!
