CMSP began in 1989 when a handful of Christian friends dreamed of helping poor Filipino children. A German charitable group, Christlcher Misssionsdienst, responded to the call to become a founding partner helping 12 kids and housing them in a small rented office. Programs also included daycare classes held in shanties among childinger in an urban poor community and a rural fishing village; conducting medical missions in rural locations; and helping pastors in remote areas.
To date, CMSP has reached out to more than 6,000 children and youth through its own community-based centers, a children’s village, and a school. At least 140 young adults have finished their college/technical education, living independently and helping their families out of poverty.
Christian Mission Service Philippines is a child-caring organization providing holistic development services for children.
We consider every child as precious in the eyes of God. Inspired by Proverbs 22:6, we strive to give the best care and love for the deprived, neglected, and abandoned children of our society.
We have served over 6,000 Filipino children to date. Many of whom are already responsible members of the communities they live in.
We operate a children’s village in Naic, Cavite, daycare centers in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and Calaca, Batangas, and a school for pre-school and elementary pupils in Sipocot, Camarines, Sur.
