With the theme: “Awesome Silver, Radiant Gold”, the special events were held last March 15 and 16 at the CMS Children’s Village in Naic, Cavite. The Children’s Games brought big smiles and laughter to the faces of children with their team cheering contest. There was much fun, prizes and surprises for everyone.

After the General Membership meeting, the Anniversary Program was held at the Sports and Social Activity Center with honored guests, donors and mission friends in attendance. About 20 Mission partners from CMD Germany came for the special occasion. It was led by CMD Chairman Bernd Bareis, Dr. Horst Kowski and Mr. Willi Foell. Representatives from partner organizations in Japan, the Parasaiyo and Plus ONE groups joined the event. Also present were local partners: President Luli de Leon of Ayala Foundation, Executive Director Geenette Garcia of Children’s Hour, Mayor Jun Dualan of Naic and other local government officials, school heads, PCMN, PETA and DSWD representatives. Director Maris Maristela of the Standards Bureau read the inspirational message of DSWD Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman. Special awards of recognition and appreciation were given to all mission partners, who also shared their respective solidarity greetings and messages. The special presentations of the children and the group of CMD Mission Volunteers added vibrance to the program.

The Anniversary Luncheon Fellowship was a significant opportunity for CMSP to share God’s blessings of food provision and cheers with everyone. It was also a great time of sharing the life and work of CMSP for the past 25th years of ministry among children. In the afternoon, the children were treated to a special program sponsored by the CMSP Harvest Alumni, called Kid’s Festival with lots of fun and games and their all-time favorite snacks.

The Children’s Anniversary presentation was one of the highlights of the celebration. It showcased the children’s God-given special talents in singing, dancing, handsplay and acting. Their superb performances brought the appreciative audience to its feet with their loud applause and praises to God! The celebration filled the air with awesome splendor of God’s faithfulness and glory!
