Life Skills Program for HS Students

High school students at the Children’s Village, under the guidance of a US Peace Corps Volunteer, participated in the Life Skills Program last July 2011. It aims to equip the students with skills that they need to live life productively and successfully. Topics include Study Habits, Computer Basics, Conflict Resolution, Arts, Teamwork, Leadership, and First Aid. Many of them were inspired and became more interested to learn more about the topics discussed and also to include new ones. In February 2012, 38 High school students completed the program in a fitting graduation ceremony. With positive feedback from students, the Social Workers will meet with them to continue the program.
